Recent Allegro Playa Dorada All Review: "I enjoyed my stay and we definitely return. Keep in mind this hotel caters to families. There are a variety of activities for children through out the day. The alcohol is abundant keep that in mind Dominicans have Rum for breakfast!! LOL! If you decide to buy the "Mama Juana" dry make sure you pour some cheap rum in the bottle before you get to the airport, Because they will make you do it otherwise!!!!"

For the full 18 holes, golfers need go only about 100 meters (109 yards) to the Playa Dorada Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. Golf incurs surcharges for greens fees and all equipment rental.

    On the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata is between the international airport to the east and the marina at Ocean World to the west.
