Recent Barcelo All Inclusive Review: "We went on a family trip to this hotel. We booked it because it was one of the cheapest all inclusive we could find. However, we kept out expectations very low as of how good it was gonna be. The day came up we showed up at the hotel... some little issues while checking in because of multiple reservations. Not that big of a deal... we all were taken  to our respective rooms and some of us even got upgraded to junior suites. There were some issues with one of the rooms which after a while got solved in the best way possible. Because of the inconvenience they even allowed us to check out late for free. The room wasn't the best thing you can expect. There were 2 twin beds, a small table, a small fridge with water and coke. Nothing too pretentious but it was alright and kinda comfy. Once we settled down, we went to have dinner. I found that the food was very good specially if you are a local and considering the price. Food was very tasty, fresh and even though they did not have too many choices the stuff they served was amazing at least to my palate. Drinks weren't great, specially the juice. Liquors also weren't their best. They did have local rum (Brugal) which is a very respected brand in the country. Next day we made reservations for the restaurants. No inconveniences whatsoever like we've seen in other hotels. We went to the seafood restaurant and even though the location wasn't great food was amazing. Afterwards, we went to the brazilian restaurant. This other restaurant was in a much better location. The food at this other restaurant was also great. Desserts served here were brought straight from heaven. On our last day we spent some time at the beach and it was good. Fine sand and good weather made a very good combination. We also spent some time at the pool and it was also good and very clean. I liked the smaller pool better because it was usually less crowded. But I guess that's just my preference. The only cons I have for this hotel is that they should h"
