Awesome resort, very nicely decorated room, spacious room, first time there heard alot of positive things about Cofresi which were all true. One negative thing to be the food, but I wasn't expecting great food at a resort, lots of bars but few had good liquor most had no name brand liqour. They push the Time Share issue but we told them we weren't really  interested and that shorten the tour. Lots of VIP areas but theres so much to do we werent really affect by it! Our favortite spot "VIP Beach" which is decieving by its title but its not just for VIPs!..Overall WE LOVE IT! Friendly staff, great place, tropical weather what more can you ask for!!

The check in process was awful, front desk management was too slow. Once we checked in, . food was great, except the fake "mexican restaurant"- food and service was awful. I also found very inconvenient when doing restaurant resrvations, they only offered me one reservation at a time. I really had to fight with the agent to get my 3 day stay restaurant  reservations. This hotel really caters to VIP members.. In addition, this hotel is not for you if you do not like walking or have infants. too many stairs............

Nous sommes residents en Rep Dom , et nous aimons aller nous relaxer pendant quelques jours dans les Hotels Tout Inclus, Celui-ci est super sympa et offre de jolies prestations. Jolies piscines , plage calme et bien amenagee. Buffets bons dans l'ensemble. Seul bemol, du personnel autours des piscines pas tres sympatique, mais on a fait avec , et le  reste nous a bien convaincu/

We got a great deal on our all-inclusive package - which even included alcohol. Upon our arrival we were given our own personal concierge, who was supposed to see to our every need and proposed meeting the next morning to give us a “tour” of the property. Of course the “tour” was really to ultimately deliver you to the sales office where they try to  sell you a time-share type of membership. Since we were only staying one night and promised we had no intention of coming back, we were able to quickly cancel the sales pitch. The room itself was fair. When we arrived, the bathroom and shower was all wet, as if someone had just showered, but I assumed (hoped) they just didn’t dry it. They gave us no map of the huge property and there was nothing in the room, but luckily you couldn’t walk very far before someone approached you in a golf cart and offered you a ride. The staff didn’t really seem very professional, and although friendly, were not very helpful. The (free) food was pretty good. Like I said, it was a great deal, and if you don’t mind the sales pitch, or can talk your way out of it, you’ll probably enjoy your stay, especially if you just want to hang around the pool and have kids to entertain.

Me encantó el hotel y sus execelntes atenciones, aunque encuentro el buffet un poco limitado en sus variedades y el mantenimiento de la limpieza de las habitaciones no fue de mi total agrado. En general mi familia y yo pasamos unas vacaciones inolvidables y muy bien atendidos.

let me start off with thebreathtaking view of the mountains n how convinient is from attractions n town.... lobby really beautiful food was really good in the buffet they incorporate dominican cusine in almost all restaurant in two days i visit la pearl buffet, el pilon, rodizio, bellini,casa blanca including bars n spa... food was really healthy all  NATURAL ingridiant!!! not artificial or frozen garbage food or fruits... loved the bk fresh squeez lemon, orange pinapple lechoza juice or smoothies also the yogur made w honey really delicious eggs n omellets made w real eggs n veggies.. sorry about those that posted they got sick but maybe they did cus they not use to so much REAL fiber.. i wasnt vip n its true theres lots of them trying to sell u the time share if u not interested just say u went w jose yesterday lol n they will leave u alone they will also try to find out if u just got there yesterday say u being there a week n that u attended the presentation theres more than 17 restaurant only 7 r vip is a little of a walk or lots of waiting for them to take u to the different parts of the resort for its worth it everywhere theres a pool n a bar that looks secluded loved this hotel was woth my money ill go back in a near future... o rooms were really big n clean loved the bathroom w jacussi w separate shower n toilet loved all the hamacas they had n the beds near the beach u could also feel the dominican culture punta cana is nice but to americanize

This resort is beautiful and well maintained. I was very disappointed with the food. I have never been to a resort before where you would actually have to search for something to eat that would taste good. Usually is the other way around, you're supposed to be overwhelmed with good choices when you're in a resort. At least, that's been my experience  so far. But the food in this resort is just bad all around. The juices are watery and taste like plain tap water with a bit of color and and some sugar - real nasty!. We were unable to make reservations for any of the restaurant for dinner. They were always overbooked (all of them - it was insane!) so we were stuck with the bad food at the buffet :( - I would not recommend this place unless they do something about the food....The worst food I have tasted in a resort and I have been to many prior to this one....Thumbs down for me.

This is a great hotel for the right person. This is not a hotel if you are looking for the best food, best room, best beach, best etc. This is however a place that has a very friendly staff, although somtimes not the most informed staff, a place that is pretty and you can with or without kids and relax. I know the Dominican very well and bottom line  you are in a cournty that has infrastructure issues. If you want to go to a place that does not suffer from these things look at the hotels that are 3 times as much in Punta Cana etc. There you will be pampered but you will pay for it. Take advantage of 70% of one the super fancy places for a 1/3 the cost. If you relax and go with the flow you will have fun.

I had a wonderful time at Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa Resort. I traveled with my son and he is turning three next month. The staff members are all very friendly and caring. I can't wait to go back. I plan on becoming a member on my next visit. I would recommend this resort to families, singles, and couples.
