Recent Kite Beach Condos Review: "MNy wife and I stayed here for three days. We could not be happier. The only problem was the air conditioning. We had to move from the first room that we were given due to the intense heat..The air conditioning did not work at all but after we talked to the adiministration they promptly chaged us to another room where the air conditioning was perfect.  The only problem is that the air conditioning was available only in the dormitory. The other room had only a fan and it did get a little hot at times. The air conditioning units could use replacement for sure. We also had problems with the door lock but after some serious complaining they put a new one on. The one thing that this place has that is unbetable is the friendliness of the staff--the manager was more than accomodating, firnedly and available. As far as I am concerned, Tomas the manager, is now a friend and I plan to to stay in touch with him as well as some other people in the staff. If you do not want to drive (we had a car--)it is perfect. Not in town but a very short walking distance from the town of Cabarete. Cabarete, in my opinion (and I know the country well) is one of the best little towns around. And I would stay away from Sosua and Puerto Plata unless you want to be exposed to some of the unsavory characters that are abundant in those towns. No such thing in Cabarete. I highly recommend this place."
