| Hotel was really clean, staff works really hard to please everybody, management is always around conversating with the guests.
Food was ok, I expected more typical dishes from the Dominican Republic!
Rooms need at least one regular ac outlet that does not cater towards European! It's impossible to charge a phone!
Drinks are fantastic, try a Iced coffee!! Ice cream, coffee, amaretto, brandy ummmm!
Pools are really nice!
Book the city tour with cable car awesome view from the top of a mountain! You can see the whole city of Puerto Plata.
Also ask to go horseback riding, the best. |

| Det var ett bra hotell med bra service. Maten var god , men de kunne variert litt på varm retter spesielt til lunsj. Vi hadde bestillt 2 rom og på det ene rommet manglet det tørkepapir på badet , vi måtte spørre etter dette papiret 4 ganger i resepsjonen og beskjeden kom ikke videre til rette personen. Vi tok da kontakt med rengjørings personellet og de kunne ordne dette med en gang. Eller vil vi takke for ett super flott opphold . |

| This hotel was a very different experience and I really enjoyed it. Everything about the hotel was beautiful and the service was great. The best service I have ever received in my life I loved it. I would always want to come back and reference it to anyone. |

| Check-in is a nightmare. Took approximately two hours to complete check-in; which included me having to call their reservations department in Mexico because they could not find me in the system. After being hung up on; another clerk looked my name up on the system and found me all of a sudden.
For an all inclusive, it's very limited. The all the bars close at midnight and the only bar open is at the disco and they charge for drinks(thought it was "ALL INCLUSIVE"). Dining on the restaurants is very limited; reservations need to be made in advance in order to dine at the "italian" or "steakhouse" and they limit to 80 people per restaurant, per shift, which makes it almost impossible to make a reservation. In addition; you're not able to call to make a reservation, must be done in person before 10am which is very inconvenient. They claim to have 24 hours food service, but if you missed buffet hours, all you will find is burger patties and/or hotdogs(without buns mostly). Buffet hours are very limited as well so you have to be hungry on their schedule otherwise you're out of luck. The location is pretty; picture perfect, however; the beach is barely swimmable due to the amount of rocks at the bottom(do not enter the water barefoot). Overall, the worst "all inclusive" hotel I have stayed in. |

| - Reception (Front Desk) is very poor.
They do not respond in a timly manner. Made 4 calls with in 8 hours because in our room the Small frig didn't work. Half the room lights didn't turn on and the AC was also not working. We also paid for a Ocean view room and they tried to sneak us into another room. Only after I finally asked to speak to management they fixed the problems. They moved us but to a single bed room which then cause a bunch of other issues. whole new tale.
- Food was Great. But during our stay they closed the main dinning hall during the lunch hour. Which made the lunch hall by the pool over crowed and it smelled like old wet towels.
- Room were very clean. The cleaning staff is wonderful. The rooms are spotless. They do have a stuffy kinda smell. Do not take the Ocean view rooms they are not worth the extra money you spend.
- I hated that at times the Reception area was full of local vendors selling stuff. They were kind of pushy on getting you to come to their tables to buy something and since they are located on the way to the main dinning hall it's hard to avoid them.
- It's also not a very kid friendly resort. No Kiddle Pool. They have a make shift pool but once 2 parents and a kid is in it the pool is full.
I would rate the beach a 5 out of 10.
-Overall my stay was pleasent. I got a good deal so I guess I got what I paid for. |

| We paid slightly more for an ocean view and had a great view of both the ocean and the countryside. Quality of the food was good but was basically the same everyday. There were 2 specialty restaurants that you could make reservations for but weren't not much different. Otherwise you were taking all your meals in the main cafeteria. |
